Marketing Specialist Job Description

·Branding

oBased on Seabrook Solution’s forward strategies for company brand and growth, develop marketing strategy to brand company and make the public aware of the company’s successes

oDevelop events schedule and develop/update booth, giveaways, messaging

oDevelop marketing relationships with like companies and host meetings/events/lunches

·Analytics

oWebsite and social media analytics and reporting to SSLLC leadership

oSupport SSLLC business develop by researching and reporting on political, government, and/or company key personnel backgrounds, agendas, and personal bios

·Communications

oAuthoring press releases

oDevelop a consistent internal communications approach to keep Seabrook employees in touch and informed

oDevelop and maintain relationships with Chamber of Commerce at key and strategic locations to maintain engagement

oDevelop approach for company newsletter

·Proposal Support

oAuthoring drafts for inclusion in Seabrook Solutions proposal efforts

oEvaluating marketing opportunities and developing proposals that allow the company to compete in local markets

oOversee the public marketing efforts of Seabrook Solutions

oJoin Huntsville area contractor organizations and attend meetings

oOversee the creation of marketing materials for existing and upcoming contracts

oManage the SSLLC website with any relevant updates

oTravel to employee sites for employee morale events

·Social Media

oWork with different departments within Seabrook Solutions (SSLLC) and contract personnel to generate compelling posts for social media outlets

oGenerate content about SSLLC to help attract new talent

oOversee the creation of video and images about the work that SSLLC performs

oPost content about conferences and meetings that SSLLC attends in the Huntsville area and around the country

Required Skills

·Understanding of marketing concepts and principles

·In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and marketing strategies

·Ability to work independently with general direction

·Willingness to learn and ask questions

·Manage and perform multiple tasks concurrently

·Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Canva, Illustrator, etc.), and other media creation platforms

Education and Experience: 

·Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience in Marketing roles

·Previous communications and marketing experience

·Experience with social media analytics tools and methods
